Joe & Cass Bauder

        Joe was the one who got me interested in ballroom dance, in fact, Joe was responsible for bringing the joy to many people. He was always willing to help someone learn, and it didn't matter if you were a young beautiful woman, he still would teach you.

Then Joe had a couple of favorites, back in the day before each medalist Joe and Janice would dance the foxtrot, solo, before every Fri night dance. Joe was on cloud nine.

Then came Rita, a quiet girl in the corner that Joe had to rescue, and he took her under his wing.

Joe also was a talented craftsman, artist, designer, printer, and generous. The bridge behind the bar at the old stardust was made by Joe, along with our Medalist neon sign, and the posters for the special events.
